Festive Professor Puts Shamrock on Corner of Prelim

KENNEDY HALL- In eager celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, Mechanical Engineering professor K. Max Zhang adorned the corner of his class’s prelims with a shamrock.

“I just love the the festive spirit of the holiday,” said Zhang of the day he would be administering an exam worth nearly 20 percent of his students’ final grades.

“So I thought, ‘What better way to brighten my students’ moods than to put a little four-leaf clover on their exams?’ You don’t have to be Irish to get excited about Saint Patrick’s Day!”

At press time, Professor Zhang’s gesture seemed to have made little impact on the students taking the exam.
