Girl With Bi Flag Sticker on Laptop Thinks We Couldn’t Tell

ROCKEFELLER HALL—Elena Davis ‘26 has been turning heads all over campus with a recent addition to her laptop stickers collection: a bisexual pride flag. The holographic pink, purple, and blue stripes are pasted just above her Hozier sticker and to the left of a Cornell Outdoor Education decal.

Davis believes this revelation came as a surprise to several of her classmates.

“I figured they assumed my septum ring was for cultural purposes,” Davis said, arguing that many people wear carabiners “just in case.”

Her classmates report, however, that everyone could kinda tell.

“She would have had us fooled, if not for the way she looked, dressed, and acted,” said Angela Gao ‘27, remarking on Davis’ hair, earrings, makeup, pants, shirt, ears, jewelry, eyes, and face.

Other classmates in Davis’ feminism and sexuality seminar echoed this perspective, claiming that her use of the phrases “heteronormativity” and “add me on Letterboxd” tipped them off.

“You should never assume someone’s sexual preferences,” said Mariela Friedman ‘26, a classmate of Davis’, “but she did make it pretty hard not to.”

At press time, Davis was seen at Green Dragon sharing wired earbuds with her new boyfriend.
