“Gays For Trump” Knew They Were Onto Something

WASHINGTON, DC—The House Oversight Committee released thousands of emails from the estate of deceased child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein last week, including one that refers to “photos of Trump blowing Bubba,” speculated to be a reference to former President Bill Clinton. While Trump and prominent Republicans attempted to deflect from further confirmations that Trump was aware of Epstein’s illegal activities, one right-wing advocacy group couldn’t be happier.

“We called this a long time ago,” said James Moran, spokesperson for Gays For Trump. “Come on: the man loves theater, he’s catty, and he plays Y.M.C.A. every time he gets on stage. Of course he has at least experimented.”

While he acknowledged that Trump has had several wives and a history of sexual predation toward women, Moran pushed back against the “bigoted assumption” that Trump must be straight. “Context really matters when it comes to attraction,” he explained. “We all go through our own experiences of realizing our sexuality. For Donald, seeing Bill Clinton at Epstein’s mansion must have awakened something deep inside. I, myself, realized I was gay by watching footage of George W. Bush dancing at his inaugural ball.”

Representatives of other LGBTQ groups disagreed with Moran’s assessment. Joshua DeVries, president of Gays Not For Trump, claimed that “no real member of our community could be that bad of a dancer. Also, surrounding himself with Christian Nationalists is a red flag.” Another member of the organization pointed out that Trump is most likely not gay, as the most consistent focus of his sexual attraction seems to be little girls.
