Morrison Stir-Fry Station Switches to Cup & Ball Scam for Food Pickup

MORRISON DINING– Earlier this week, Morrison Dining responded to student feedback about their stress-inducing and inaccurate system for stir-fry pickup.

“We have been hearing complaints about the ‘watch your food as it moves around for seven minutes and pick a plate that looks like your order’ system we currently have,” said Director of Culinary Innovation Gregory Stevens. “Since today’s generation can no longer appreciate the subtle art of tracking your food as our hunter-gatherer ancestors did, we will be switching to the modern “Cup & Ball” game for food orders moving forward.”

The initial parts of the stir fry station will remain the same. Students will have the opportunity to customize their dishes with whatever vegetables, carbs, and proteins they desire. The “fun part”, as Morrison Dining has dubbed it, comes after the meal is sporadically chopped, mixed, and “cooked.” Diners will be shown their meal and two empty plates; after two seconds of observation, the plates will be covered and spun by John Ray, professional Cup & Ball Scam Artist from NYC. They will then have five seconds to select the correct plate.

“I just hope that I’ll be able to get the correct order now,” shared Lisa Potts ‘29. “Last week, I selected a plate that looked exactly like mine. But when I went to eat it, I discovered that it had pieces of pancakes and fried dough mixed in from the freaking brunch station.”

Morrison also stated intentions of gamifying other stations. They plan to start with the dessert bar, which will start incorporating BINGO by early November.
