BAKER LABORATORY — As the semester begins to pick up, both love and germ particles are in the air, causing many campus couples to catch more than just the love bug. Students Tyler Robinson ‘29 and Lacy James ‘29 met in their 9 AM lecture and immediately clicked. They had an organic sort of chemistry together and connected over their matching sopping-wet coughs and love of sneezing in the vague direction of their hands.
Despite the overlap of exam and flu seasons, the lovebirds vowed to attend every lecture–in sickness and in health. This hacky sentiment was ill received by their peers, however. Classmate Harry Matthews ‘28 stated, “When the couple walks down the aisle, the rest of the auditorium can feel that their love, among other things, is contagious.”
Robinson affirms that “Unlike our immune systems, our relationship has never been stronger” and that he and James are looking forward to repulsively sniffling, loudly clearing their scratchy throats, and audibly breathing through their mouths until death do them part.
