Dank Puddle Reaches Critical Mass Seconds Before TCAT Plows Through

COLLEGETOWN—Totally oblivious to the growing pool of murky rainwater by the sidewalk, dozens gathered at a bus stop to avoid walking home. Just as the puddle’s coverage approached the optimal splash radius, a TCAT drove straight through it at full speed, dousing everyone with soaking leaf mulch anyway.

“I swear I was hydroplaning,” explained route 30 TCAT driver Bob Wheeler, “It’s not like I would drive directly toward that shining, rippling, tempting, king-sized puddle of splish-splash fun right by them smelly kids anyway!”

The puddle regained its mass at an exponential rate and an incoming spray was starting to look inevitable. Eager to escape the storm, the students gave up on another bus arriving and ran off to seek shelter from the endless squall, wet socks and all.

Bystanders were furious. Dripping head-to-toe, Tiffany Cheung ‘29 cried, “The last two buses were full so I waited here for 30 minutes just for my CTB to get drenched!”

Just for good measure, an e-scooter skidded by as they turned around and sprayed their backsides too.
