ITHACA, NY- Students enrolled in ECON 1110 were found to be very distraught today after the professor of the class decided to assign a fucking ridiculous homework assignment that’s due next week. According to Ryan Weems ’17, the assignment is “absolutely insane,” “unbelievable,” and “just like, bullshit.”
“The professor knows that this class isn’t my day job, right? Then why the fuck should I have to write a stupid paper about whatever the dumb topic is? I’m a busy college student, I can’t be expected to handle absurd assignments like this one,” scoffed the visibly upset freshman. The assignment involves writing a three to five page essay on the subject of something idiotic and unnecessary, and probably won’t have much effort put into it if the students can get away with that kind of stuff in this class.
“I’m not even an Econ major. I study astronomy. What, does the professor think I just have all the time in the world to learn about astronomy and write a shitty essay about his dumb lecture? You’ve gotta be kidding me,” reiterated Ryan, now pouting. Recent reports show that many of the students in the class will need to now change their Friday night plans, because they’ve got to bang out this essay before it gets too late and they really wanted to hang out at that frat party on Saturday night, and Sunday just won’t work because that’s their relax day.
