First 150 Entrants to Career Fair to Get T-Shirt, Fulfilling Careers

BARTON HALL — Cornell Career Services announced today that, in order to generate enthusiasm and interest in its opportunities, the first 150 entrants to the Career Fair would receive complimentary Career-themed pinnies, a Cornell beanie, and a challenging, rewarding career which could easily last a lifetime.

“We want to make sure that Cornell students get to experience how much fun a Career Fair can be, so we’re making an effort to ensure that students come to check it out,” explained Rebecca Sparrow, Executive Director of Cornell Career Services.

“We know college students pretty well, so we’re confident that offering a few freebies in addition to immediate acceptance at a well-salaried job related to their degree will produce the results we’re looking for.”

Sparrow noted that the number of fulfilling careers would be strictly capped at 150 and all students arriving later were destined to have miserable desk jobs.
